Open Source Software for Everybody

This weekend I'd like to make a small list of some Open Source application which I suggest to use, sure it is not a complete list but should be enough to get you started with Open Source so you don't need to get proprietary software any more.I wrote in the title that is software for "Everybody" because those programs can run on any operating system, so not just Linux but Windows and Mac OS X as well.
- Office automation: OpenOffice.org, o NeoOffice its Mac OS X version
- Internet Browsing: Firefox
- Email: Thunderbird
- RSS Reader and Newsgroup: Thunderbird
- Calendar, Todos, etc...: Sunbird, Thunderbird with Lightning plugin
- Graphics Design and Photography: GIMP
